Broker's Comments

This static steel barge has recently been converted to a high standard and offers style combined with character and something just a little different for less than £40,000. Inside there is a large open-plan living room with a wood burner and plenty of space for two or three sofas. This leads to a good-sized fully-fitted kitchen. A hall leads to the spacious bathroom, with toilet, bath and shower, and then to a good-sized bedroom. A second good-sized bedroom is to the right as you descend the stairs from the entrance, and behind the stairs there is a small room, which could be a small bedroom or study. The barge is moored in Colchester and has good access to the town and a supermarket is within ½ a mile, London is less than an hour by train. The barge comes with mooring and all services will be available.
