Here comes the sun… and I say, it’s alright; these boats have had their asking prices reduced! If you’re looking for a Westerly second hand yacht for sale in Essex we may have the boat you are looking for. As with all Boatshed boats we have an extensive slideshow of images for both of these boats, so that you can really examine them inside and out.

Westerly Griffon now £13,950

This Westerly Griffon is an exceptionally nice one; the interior looks great the headlings have been done and the upholstery is also very good. The outside is great too; the hull is original gel coat the deck are smart and she has a good inventory of recent equipment.
This fin keel version sails very well, they are and excellent all round cruiser. With good accommodation and good standing headroom they tick all the boxes.

Westerly Storm now £29,950

The Westerly Storm was described in a review of second hand yachts a couple years ago as “no nonsense capable off shore yachts”. The original concept was to produce a one design cruiser/racer; but with the added bonus of being a comfortable family performance cruiser. They succeeded in producing an excellent family cruiser with great sea keeping qualities and a good turn of speed.

They also have good accommodation with two good sized cabin forward and aft; the forward cabin has its own hand basin. This boat has an extensive inventory: The Engine was replaced in 2008 and this has only completed 160 hours running time from new. The instrumentation includes a Garmin 3006C Colour Chart Plotter/Radar. Other equipment includes a 6-man Liferaft , Hydrovane Self Steering and a Wind Generator.

Our broker Steve was heard to say, “I doubt there is a better equipped Westerly Storm on the market!”

Here comes the sun…. Are you ready for summer?
