Welcome to the ancient Spring festival of Beltane, traditionally an occasion for boisterous pagan celebrations! Will you be celebrating with Morris dancing, maypoles and baskets of flowers? Or simply getting in tune with nature by going out on the ocean waves this weekend?

Beltane used to mark the beginning of summer. If you’re thinking of buying a second hand boat ready for this summer’s season have a look at these, recently reduced in price.

Carver 405 Flybridge now £72,000

The Carver 405 has a huge amount of accommodation, the aft cabin with its own large en-suite and island double bed is the perfect owner’s cabin. There is then another double cabin forward and another heads with shower. The galley area has a dining area adjacent to it and this converts to another double bed when required. The Saloon area is also roomy with a comfortable L-shaped leather sofa.

The Cummins diesel engines have been serviced spring 2013 and will power the boat along at up to 24 knots when required.

Our broker Steve says this well-appointed Motor Yacht would also make an ideal live aboard.

Lynx 29 now £12,000

The Lynx 29 design is based on the Leisure 27 and you can certainly see similarities if you follow the link to all the photos. The designer produced the Leisure 29 to provide better performance and increased space. Jaguar Yachts then bought the moulds and renamed it the Lynx 29. So we have here a bigger and version of the Leisure 27 with wheel steering to boot!

Stevens 1040 Dutch Steel Motor Cruiser now £59,750

This Dutch built Steel Motor Cruiser offers comfortable accommodation for 6/7 people. They have two helm positions one in the saloon and the other on the aft deck; an ideal arrangement for all-weather cruising. The low air draft also means they are suitable for inland waterway use as well as off shore. This single diesel engine version is very economical; we are advised by her owners that she uses just 5 litres per hour at cruising speed.

As with all Boatshed boats we have an extensive slideshow of images for each boat for sale, so that you can really examine the boat inside and out.
