‘Chart Work and Navigation’ Classroom Session: Saturday 8th June

As part of the Active Marina events at Fambridge Yacht Haven Carol of Estuary Sailing will help you build on your basic chart work skills. This class in the Estuary Sailing classroom offers useful passage planning and navigation tips. It costs £10 per person and is open to a maximum of 10 people.

Essex Boat Jumble: Sunday 9th June

This weekend you can pick up nautical bargains, engines, chandlery, clothing, rope, fishing tackle or inflatables if you head on over to the South Essex Boat Jumble. It opens at 10am and admission is only £4.00 Kids go free and parking is free. Head for Eastwood Nursery, on the A127, 6 miles east of Basildon. It will be signposted but full directions are on the Rotamarine website.

North Fambridge Yacht Club ‘Summer Series’ starts Friday 28 June

Coming up at the end of the month is the NFYC Friday Evening 'Summer Series'. It starts on Friday 28th June and is open to all. There are 9 races, 5 to count. This is just one of the racing events on offer at the yacht club and is a great opportunity for socialising. Find out more at the North Fambridge Yacht Club website.
