I am having a stressful week. Luckily, sailing is the antidote to stress. Once the ropes are let go you are free from the constraints of modern life and get to spend a bit of quality time with the wind and the water.

This week we are able to take the stress out of boat hunting by introducing three more boats that have had their asking price reduced. As with all Boatshed boats we have an extensive slideshow of images for each boat for sale, so that you can really examine the boat inside and out.

Bavaria 31 Cruiser now £52,500

This Bavaria cruiser is in exceptionally nice condition. The boat has been owned from new by her current owners who are now moving abroad. The electric opening transom is worth a special mention, it makes the yacht really easy to board from a dinghy as well as being a great swim platform.

This boat is a modern easy to handle family cruiser with good accommodation sleeping up to six people. Bavaria sailing yachts are great value and lovely to sail.

Sealine F42/5 further reduced to £187,000

One of the most innovative boats to come on to the market: Is it 42ft or a 45footer? - In fact with Sealine’s extending cockpit system it’s both. With the press of a button the transom and cockpit seat move back giving the extra 3ft of space; perfect for on-board entertaining (see our photographs).

The Flybridge area is also huge with plenty of seating and another clever us of space the helm seat can be rotated to one side when required to open up the seating area.

Our broker Steve says, “This boat is the 3 cabin version with the galley along one side of the saloon area creating space for a portside cabin with two bunk beds. With the use of the additional double in the saloon area this boat will sleep 8 in comfort. Another point to note is that the engines are the powerful 480hp units giving a top speed of 30knots.”

Great Dane 28 now £13,495

The Great Dane 28 (pictured) is an excellent Long Keel Yacht; capable of handling pretty much most conditions. Designed by Ange Utzon and built by Klaus Baess in Denmark they are sturdy and well built.

This boat has been very well maintained and had some major upgrades during the last 7 or 8 years. These included new sails and rigging, a new Nanni diesel engine with fresh water cooling, a variety of electronic equipment, new windows and headlinings, a full rewire and more. There are plenty of photographs available, just follow the link above.
