The outdoor terrace cockpit offers a spacious area to enjoy the outdoors sheltered from the sun under the removable Bimini, and you can easily dine there with up to 6 people. Take advantage of its swim platform and its aft-bathing shower to swim and rinse off wherever you like. This deck shower also provides hot water!

You access the interior salon of the boat from the cockpit terrace via a descent. This room offers a beautiful and adaptable living area, connected to the kitchen and dinette by two steps, creating a typical sense of space found in Dutch Steel Cruiser. In this area, you will find the Panasonic air conditioning unit (new in late 2022), which makes all the difference in both summer and winter by providing 3.4 kW of cooling and 3.84 kW of heating.

For heating, there is also a Hurricane central heating system (new in 2023) that runs on red diesel. So, you won't be cold in the winter! There is also a Vetus red diesel generator (revised in 2023) with 6.2 kW, which provides 230V on board during navigation or when the boat is not connected to shore power. Hot water is provided by a 70L water heater. In this salon, there is a headroom of 1.95m.

Two steps then lead us to the open kitchen/dinette adjoining the salon, featuring its 4 gas burners and a brand new 12V refrigerator from 2023. In this dinette, it's easy to dine with four, or even five people, if you use the end of the table. It can also be converted into a double bed measuring 110X190. In this kitchen/dinette, the headroom is 1.84 meters.

Continuing towards the bow, you'll arrive at the bow cabin. In this cabin, there is a headroom of 1.84m, and each of the two single beds measures 80X180. The corridor has a headroom of 1.86m.

Going towards the stern, passing through the salon again, you'll reach the shower/toilet to starboard and the aft cabin. This bathroom is equipped with a 12V electric toilet with a macerator. I was surprised by the width and space in this shower; my elbows don't touch the walls, which is nice! Additionally, this room has been recently redone by our owner, and I found the finish to be very well done. Another interesting detail: on the left upon entering this bathroom, a convenient vertical hatch provides direct access to the generator, making it easy to start or maintain. In this bathroom, there is a headroom of 1.85m.

Finally, you arrive in the aft owner's cabin with a headroom of 1.85m and a double bed measuring 190X130, as well as a single bed measuring 190X80.

Broker's Comments

Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to present this 42ft Grand Star Cruiser Dutch motor yacht for sale.

Here we have a classic of the boating world, very practical for navigating in all weather conditions, thanks to its covered external helm. Additionally, with both a bow and stern thruster, manoeuvring becomes child's play!

A significant advantage is this boat seems to be very well improved and maintained by our owner, who lives on board, as confirmed by the recent 2023 survey.

Equipped with reversible air conditioning, central heating (Huricain 2023), and a 6.2KVA Vetus generator, this vessel offers all the comforts of a floating apartment, both on mooring and during your cruise.

Its generous window surface makes it exceptionally bright, and it easily accommodates sleeping arrangements for seven people.
