Published: Thursday, 23 May 2013Bavaria sailing yachts are great value and lovely to sail. Our current boat of the moment is this Bavaria 31 Cruiser and she’s in exceptionally nice condition. The boat has been owned from new by her current owners who are now moving abroad. The electric opening transom is worth a special mention, it makes the yacht really easy to board from a dinghy as well as being a great swim platform.

If your boat is powered by wind energy you can be proud that your boating is an earth-friendly eco-activity. You will of course use fuel when there is no wind, when heading into the wind or when navigating narrow channels but your sail boat will use far less fuel than a powerboat.
