Westerly Storm 33 now £26,750

The Westerly Storm (pictured) was described in a review of second hand yachts a couple years ago as “no nonsense capable off shore yachts”. The original concept was to produce a one design cruiser/racer; but with the added bonus of being a comfortable family performance cruiser. They succeeded in producing an excellent family cruiser with great sea keeping qualities and a good turn of speed.

They also have good accommodation with two good sized cabin forward and aft; the forward cabin has its own hand basin. This boat has an extensive inventory: The Engine was replaced in 2008 and this has only completed 160 hours running time from new. The instrumentation includes a Garmin 3006C Colour Chart Plotter/Radar. Other equipment includes a 6-man Life raft and a Wind Generator.

Our broker Steve says, “I doubt there is a better equipped Westerly Storm on the market! And there is also a Hydrovane self-steering unit available by separate negotiation.”

Rogers 42 Deck Saloon now £85,000

This one off performance cruiser was designed by Simon Rogers of Rogers Yacht Design and as you would expect she is a superbly designed yacht. She was designed as a fast blue water cruiser with great sea keeping qualities; as well as suitable spacious accommodation. The boat was built to and excellent standard by Farrow & Chambers; no expenses was spared - see construction details by clicking the link above.

This exceptional deck saloon makes an excellent live-aboard, the saloon is very airy sited to give an all-round view out of the windows even when seated.

The equipment levels are what you would expect, perhaps more; she has dual helms with most of the instrumentation and controls duplicated. She is ready to go with new anodes, antifouling and the engine service.

Steve says, “The Bluewater yacht is one of the best value yachts of its type on the market in my view, and well worth serious consideration. Plus, the owners will consider a part exchange on this vessel.”

Picton Spirit 3000 now £32,500

This Picton Spirit 3000 Sports Cruiser has a large amount of accommodation, both above and below decks. They can sleep 6 and seat up to 9! This one looks nicely maintained and has a very good inventory. It also has twin 200hp Volvo Diesels that will power her along at up to 30 knots.
