3 Bargain Boats for the Bank Holiday Weekend
This weekend you can visit the Thames Sailing Barge Trust’s two sailing barges at Hythe Quay. Take a look around these two iconic vessels and enjoy some shanty singers during this seafaring themed day out in Maldon this weekend. The cost is simply a donation, from 11am on Sunday 4th and Monday 5th May.

Sealine 410 Statesman now £94,995
The Sealine 410 Statesman (pictured) preceded the Sealine F43 and with the exception of a slightly extended bathing platform on the F43 they are the same boat. They offer great value being very well equipped and spacious flybridge cruisers. The spacious interior can accommodate 8 comfortably, and includes a large owner’s cabin aft with en-suite shower room and separate en-suite heads with hand basin.
The forward cabin has en-suite access to the main heads via a door from the cabin. The main heads also has a shower and hand basin.
The galley area has a dinette opposite which converts to a double when required, and the saloon area makes up the forth double.
The Volvo Diesels have only completed 785 hours from new.
Including her current owner, who bought this boat through Boatshed Essex in 2009, we know the past three owners of this boat going back about 10 years and she has always been very well looked after. The current owner has recently upgraded various items including the heads and saloon floors etc.
Jeanneau Sun 2000 - Comfort Version now £15,995
This Jeanneau Sun 2000 is in great condition. It looks new and the outboard engine is in fact brand new. Jeanneau describe it as:
"The Sun 2000 reunites all of the strong points of recreational sailing: hassle-free preparation, easy transportation and launching, fine hull lines, stability and speed, a large comfortable cockpit, creative use of interior space”.

The Seamaster 820 is an ideal cruiser for coastal or inland use. The Deep V hull makes them very stable and seaworthy; on deck they have an aft cockpit with an open backed wheelhouse protecting the helm from the elements. The interior space includes a good sized galley, separate heads with shower , and room to sleep 4.
This boat has had an extensive refurbishment including new upholstery and headlinings. The diesel engine has only completed 25 hours running since a full rebuild see details above.
