3 Glorious Sailing Yachts Reduced in Price
There are rumours that this summer is going to be long and hot, in fact the best we have had in the UK for years. What better way is there to enjoy those perfect summer days, than as the captain of your own yacht, sailing where the winds take you?
If sailing off into the sunset is your dream then I am willing to bet that we have the perfect boat for you. These three here have all been reduced in price, but if your dreamboat isn’t one of them, then we have plenty more for you to look at! (Check out our Boat Search function top right.)
Let’s start with this Westerly Griffon (pictured) reduced to £11,950. She an exceptionally nice boat; the interior looks excellent the headlings have been done and the upholstery is also very good. The outside is great too; the hull is original gel coat, the deck is smart and she has a good inventory of recent equipment.
This is the fin keel version and she sails very well, the Westerly Griffon are excellent all round cruisers. With good accommodation and good standing headroom they tick all the boxes.
Or how about this gorgeous Beneteau First 28 reduced to £12,995. She is a very nice example of the model and it has clearly been looked after by the owners. They offer good sailing performance as well as being stable seaworthy cruisers suitable for family cruising.
They have a good sized cockpit with lines led aft for ease of handling; and inside there's plenty of space suitable for sleeping up to 6 people, the perfect boat for a holiday with friends or family.
My third and final offering today is this utterly splendid Rogers 42 Deck Saloon reduced to £85,000. Now that might sound rather steep in comparison to the two previous boats, but this is a one-off performance cruiser, designed by Simon Rogers of Rogers Yacht Design and as you would expect she is a superb yacht. She was designed as a fast blue water cruiser with great sea keeping qualities; as well as suitable spacious accommodation. The boat was built to an excellent standard by Farrow & Chambers; no expense was spared.
This exceptional deck saloon would make an excellent live-aboard, the saloon is very airy, sited to give an all-round view out of the windows even when seated. The equipment levels are what you would expect, perhaps more; she has dual helms with most of the instrumentation and controls duplicated.
The Bluewater yacht is one of the best value yachts of its type on the market in my view, and well worth serious consideration. She is ready to go with new anodes, antifouling and the engine service.
If you would like to view one of these boats, or any other boat listed with Boatshed Essex, appointments can be arranged in advance 6 days a week directly with the Boatshed Essex office at Fambridge Yacht Haven, where a warm welcome awaits you!
