Broker's Comments
This Classic Alan Buchanan Yawl is a beauty; there are not many boats that have the style and appeal of this one. She has also been maintained and looked after by her various owners one of whom was Jon Wainwright of "Only so Many Tides" fame. Not only does she look great she is also a fast seaworthy yacht this Gaff Rigged Yawl is capable of 7 plus knots - up to 9 knots, we are told, in perfect conditions.
In recent years the engine has been replaced and various works completed on the hull and keel boats – see details above. The hull was also repainted in May of 2012 and the decks and coachroof the previous year. The photographs of her sailing past were taken at the time of listing this boat and as you can see she looks to have a good set of sails and makes a very pretty site on the river.
We have a lot of history on this vessel; if we have got you interested feel free to call to discuss her in more detail.
