Broker's Comments
This converted Dutch Barge has so much going for it. Firstly, since the work started in 2002, it has been converted to the highest standard, using quality materials such as maple and cherry wood, to make a lovely bright and airy home. Secondly, it is currently moored in one of the nicest marinas in London, minutes from the City and with an active friendly community. The third aspect is the fact that she has proved herself to be a reliable cruiser completing over twenty outings on the Thames.
Finally, she is attractively priced; this is a lot of boat and home for the money.
There is a good sized cockpit behind the wheelhouse and a large foredeck. The deck itself is currently taken up by a play area, which is removable. The wheelhouse needs some work to complete it and from this steps lead down to the open plan living area, which becomes the kitchen. A corridor runs down to the main bedroom, with second bedroom and bathroom off, and in front of the main bedroom is the forecastle which could be conferred to an office or third bedroom.
