Broker's Comments
One owner since new, built in 1999, this 50 foot Narrowboat comes with a residential mooring that can be transferred to the new owner. The mooring comes with its own parking space and storage/shed area.
The residential mooring fee is £40 per week.
Entrance via the current mooring is by the bow which has been enclosed to provide extra internal space and protect her from the elements whilst underway.
At the front of the vessel is the saloon area. There is plenty of storage, some furnishings and a television. Moving beyond the saloon/lounge areas there is a nice dining area suitable for 4 people, beyond that there is the galley, and then bathroom and cabin (with double bed).
The boat is a 'Cruiser Stern' and so all helm controls are aft of the vessel.
Of particular note:
- There is a BSS Boat Safety Certificate which is still in date (expires March 2024)
- There is an 1800w inverter fitted
- 20 Amp Charger
- The windows have been double glazed
- Heating is provided by a diesel heater (plus there is a spare one as a backup just in case!)
The boat has a full tank of diesel and a further 60 litres in portable containers stored on board.
