2015 new mast, boom, kicker and standing rigging. This is a taller rig than standard, with a longer boom and balances the boat better than before.
All new running rigging 2015.
New windward sheeting mainsheet traveller fitted to new mainsheet track 2015.
The mast is tapered with swept back spreaders which together with coach roof Genoa sheeting ensures the boat is incredibly close winded. Sail shape is controlled by a backstay cascade and a windward sheeting mainsail car.
New sail wardrobe in 2015. All sails are in excellent condition.
Racing mainsail is in excellent condition, with a vantage 1 membrane, aramid fibres in a scrim style. 1 row of slab reefs, loose foot, leech flattener, cunningham, telltales, sail numbers, fast stripes and sausage bag. This sail luff is approx. 1 metre longer than a conventional Robber main and has a full length top batten and extended roach which requires a backstay flipper.

Broker's Comments
The Robber 3E, one of the most successful Quarter Tonner designs, is the modified version of the earlier 1970’s variety. The 3E provides increased sail area and this example also has a new, larger rig.
As a light displacement cruiser, the boat provides numerous attractive sailing options, from coastal cruising to competitive club racing. This example has been a club class winner and has had significant investment in replacement rigging and the sail wardrobe.
The boat is presented in very good condition externally and would only require limited cosmetic touches, internally, for cruising purposes. When I visited the boat I was impressed by the quality of the potential sailing performance this boat has, while still having the feel of a seakindly cruiser.
