Broker's Comments

This Thames Lighter is a beautifully converted Lighter barge that is unique in it's presentation. The vessel looks to have been well cared for and loved by the current owners. This barge has been attractively and tastefully refurbished giving a contemporary, yet homely feel.

The thoughtfully designed layout gives a warm, yet spacious feeling , with plenty of storage throughout. You enter, into the 'office', which is an idyllic space, with plenty of light and attractive views. From here, down the steps to the large, open-plan galley, dining area, with access to the aft cosy double cabin. Moving forward from the dining area through to a beautiful glassed partition wall into the snug yet spacious feeling saloon area, with a cosy multifuel stove and plenty of additional space for family, friends and entertaining, with the addition of stained glass windows. Further forward, you enter into the master suite, a spacious, double cabin, complete with wardrobes and ample storage. There is also a third mezzanine double cabin, giving plenty of room for guests or as an Airbnb.
Outside, there is acres of space for both storage and living, including both an aft deck and foredeck space, which could be utilised for relaxing in a deck garden, or for entertaining in the summer months.
