Back to #sailing school
If the kids are back to school or uni this week perhaps it is now the time to squeeze in a little extra learning for yourself. If you already know how to raise and lower the sails, how to set them to the wind, and what to do with fenders and lines when you come alongside then you could try improving your skills with a day skipper practical course.
If you’re in between boats at the moment allow us to educate you in the sort of boats we have for sale right now. If maths is your subject you’ll notice we’ve subtracted some numbers to make these boats more attractive to the buyer! Click on the links below to see an extensive slideshow of images for each boat.
The Prinz 33 Open is a top quality Sports Cruiser superbly designed to achieve outstanding performance and styling. Designed by J&J Designs for the Belgian company Prinz Yachts they are not as well known in the UK as Fairline, Princess or Sealine but they are top of the list when it comes to quality. If you are in the market for a 30ft -35ft performance sports cruiser come and look at this fantastic boat before you buy.
The Carter 30 has an excellent reputation for sea-keeping in all weathers coupled with good sailing performance.
This yacht had a new diesel engine and sail drive professionally fitted in 2009. The engine completed little over 300 hours. New teak cockpit seating and locker lids have been fitted in 2013. Take a look at all the photographs – we’ve just added some new ones.
And finally, this Rodgers 42 deck saloon is now £97,500
Our broker Steve says, “This one off performance cruiser was designed by Simon Rodgers of Rodgers Yacht Design and as you would expect she is a superbly designed yacht. She was designed as a fast blue water cruiser with great sea keeping qualities; as well as suitable spacious accommodation. The boat was built to and excellent standard by Farrow & Chambers; no expenses was spared.” (Follow the link above to see the construction details.)
“This exceptional deck saloon make an excellent live-aboard, the saloon is very airy sited to give an all-round view out of the windows even when seated.
The equipment levels are what you would expect, perhaps more; she has dual helms with most of the instrumentation and controls duplicated.
The Bluewater yacht is one of the best value yachts of its type on the market in my view, and well worth serious consideration.
She is ready to go with new anodes, antifouling and the engine service.”
The Owners will consider a part exchange on this vessel.
